CAMP PROGRAM INFO: With over 30 years of experience, the Phoenix Ranch prides itself in presenting an outstanding summer camp program that reflects our commitment to excellent supervision and quality programming.

We are accredited by the American Camp Association, a national accrediting agency that supports high quality standards for site, supervision, and programming. Our campus is very safe with a trained security guard on campus at all times, and CCTV monitoring. The cost of each camp session (2 weeks) is $500 for grades K-6. The cost for one week only is $300. We offer children attending all four weeks a $100 discount, reducing the total cost to $900, and a second child/sibling discount of $50 per session.

The tuition includes all camp field trips, a camp T-shirt and two snacks per day. There is an additional fee of $150 per two-week session for our 7th and 8th grade Habonim campers, to cover the cost of special activities (like surfing and scuba diving). The full tuition for each session must be paid before the first day of that session.

CAMP COUNSELOR JOB DESCRIPTION

Brief Description: Camp counselors at Pali Adventures are responsible for the physical and emotional well-being of campers. They supervise campers in a cabin setting, at mealtimes, and during activities. Counselors are in charge of facilitating activities throughout the day. Counselors work as a team to ensure all campers have a fun and memorable experience at camp. Counselors report directly to their Specialty Director and Group Leader.

QUALIFICATIONS

 Exhibit characteristics of responsibility, dependability, leadership, patience, punctuality, hard work, sense of humor, self-control, integrity, common sense, good judgment and a positive enthusiastic attitude.
 Complete the staff application and interview process.
 Attend staff training (May 30 – June 12) and all in-service trainings.
 Must have completed high school and be a minimum 18 years of age or older as of 5/30/20.
 Desire and ability to work with children.
 Other duties as assigned

Staff members are entrusted with the care and safety of young children in a rustic setting replete with natural and man-made dangers. All staff members must have the ability to respond immediately to an emergency. CAMP FACILITIES: PlayMakers Summer Camp will work both inside in traditional classrooms and the multi-purpose room, as well as, outside on the playground throughout the two weeks of camp. The Open Workshop presentation for parents will be performed at 2pm on the final Friday of each session of camp.

CAMP FACILITIES: Beautiful and recently renovated Black Box Theater. It has a stage and comfortable back stage. All of our props and backgrounds are designed and created by hand. Elevated seating that can fit up to 90 people. There is a ticket booth and a functioning restroom. Different types of lighting: black light, fluorescent, stage lighting, rope lighting, and a disco ball. A working sound board, music, and up-to-date stereo system. We utilize different media options as well.
A few buildings away is our main office, where rehearsals may sometimes be held. It has 3 spacious rehearsal rooms, each with a baby grand piano.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: A sleeping princess, a spellbound Prince and more fairies than you can shake a stick at are all part of this quirky adaptation of the popular tale. The evil Trollarina exacts her revenge on the royal family by sending the beautiful Princess Melisande into an everlasting sleep, but little does she realize more than one spell is about to be broken by the kiss of an enchanted Faun.

Performance for family and friends at the end of the camp.

We do not skip out on costumes! Every participant will be outfitted in a role and age appropriate costumes for the performance. The actors and actress will also interact with carefully designed and created props.

Students will be learning stage position, projection of their voice, blocking, how to interpret a scrip, read music, sing in a group, and dancing. Since the plays we do are musicals, the actors and actresses will learn the basics of singing. It includes, reading music, matching pitch, group and possibly solo singing, tempo, and rhythms. Our choreographer will teach dance positions, dance moves, rhythm, counting, and tempo. Every lesson is created with the children's skill level and abilities in mind and we always encourage them and help them strive for their best.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have 2 dance studios in the building. We use our large dance space for the dance classes and performance. Camp sit-down activities, arts & crafts are held in our mezzanine studio. Dressing rooms, indoor and outdoor eating areas and office are downstairs.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Star Dance Studio has been a neighborhood and family style dance school since 1950. Over sixty-eight years! Our faculty and staff are warm and caring people who love working with children. Instructors are adults well experienced in their dance art and teaching skills. CAMP FACILITIES: We stay in the most luxurious dorms and hotels in the center of the cities. We only use private transportation, never public.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our Summer Staff are all college graduates over the age of 21. Having worked extensively with high school students in the past, our staff members genuinely look forward to their summers with ACA. We have a 10:1 student to staff ratio on our domestic programs and 8:1 student to staff ratio on our abroad programs. Safety and supervision is our number one priority. We are certified by the American Camp Association.

Camping as a family is a great way to connect and instead of staying in a tent Camp E.L.K. brings you the luxury of beds, showers, prepared meals, and staff led activities. All facilities air-conditioned and it boasts an indoor 9-lane collegiate size pool, Aquatic Center, 4000 Sq.ft. air-conditioned Fitness Center with state of the art wellness equipment, fabulous new dormitories, quad style with one or two campers sharing a bathroom. Minutes from Georgia state parks, river activities, and Lake Hartwell. It's a wonderful place to experience summer fun while learning about nutrition, healthy cooking and fitness.

TEXAS: Camp Shane Texas is set on a lovely 83-acre, beautifully landscaped and wooded campus with attractive and well kept facilities in gorgeous Texas Hill Country setting. Dormitories are modern with custom furniture, granite bathroom counter tops and polished concrete floors. All sport facilities, dorms and classrooms are air conditioned. There is an outdoor classroom, garden, orchard, chicken coop, and miles of nature trails as well as a state-of-the-art weight room, fitness center, multi-purpose room, two gymnasiums and a new indoor swimming pool. Wholesome and nutritious Shane approved healthy menu prepared on-site. We are not a fat camp nor are we a boot camp. We combine all the fun of traditional summer camp with the benefits of weight loss.

WISCONSIN: Camp Shane Wisconsin is set on 80 acres, located off the shore of Lake Michigan. Dorms are newly constructed, modern and fully air-conditioned.
