CAMP PROGRAM INFO: RELATIVITY CAMPS are the first programs of their kind created with a NEXT-GENERATION MOVIE STUDIO. Relativity films include: The Best of Me, Earth to Echo, Limitless, The Social Network, Immortals, Mirror Mirror and Hector and the Search for Happiness—to name a few.

Study Film Production, Acting, Commercial Dance and Musical Theatre in workshops backed by a HOLLYWOOD STUDIO, taught by INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS and operated from an ACTIVE STUDIO LOT. At Relativity, we empower cross-disciplinary collaboration, champion entrepreneurship, ignite creativity and promote groundbreaking content. It is an educational experience unlike any other.

We offer camps for students 13-17 and intensives for adults 18+. Our campus is located in Los Angeles. Residing on a working studio lot, our Los Angeles campus celebrates the Hollywood experience.

CAMP FACILITIES: Pool and Lagoon
Our Junior Olympic-size pool affords campers the opportunity to work on and improve swimming skills, soak up the sun, or just play! It’s also the site of one of our biggest color wars competitions of each session, the all-camp Aqua Fest.

The Lagoon is the most popular place in camp on a hot summer day, and many of our late afternoons are spent here as other activities in camp are winding down. Paddle boats & paddle boards, rope swing, high jump, trampoline – there’s so much to do! The lagoon is fed by a babbling brook just waiting to be explored, and which carries native brook and German brown trout, making the lagoon a great fishing spot as well.

Dining Hall
Our lodge style dining hall is the heart of camp and has a truly historic lodge-like feel. Food is served & buffet tables are set up inside at mealtimes, while campers eat under the canopy outside, affording everyone a view of the sprawling meadow and lagoon. Our all-camp dances take place here, and on those rare but wonderful occasions when we get an evening rainstorm, we have someplace dry to gather for some indoor games, too!

Cabins
Each cabin at Mountain Meadow Ranch is unique in style, but every cabin has electricity, wall-to-wall carpeting, and is complete with its own bathroom and shower facilities. Many have a front deck that overlooks the central meadow, a great place to catch up with their cabin mates and enjoy the view. Campers sleep in their own twin-sized cozy wooden bunk beds with bedding or sleeping bags, all clothes and belongings are kept in trunks or luggage that slide under or to the side of their bunks. There are shelves and countertop space in the bathrooms. Laundry service is offered once a week for all campers and staff. It is priority that our cabins be clean, safe and comfortable. Cabin groups are separated according to age and gender.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Serendipity and flexibility are essential to our summer camp activity program – designed to allow each camper the ability to style the program according to what they want to do. Therefore, there is no pre-registration before camp for any of our activities. Campers choose which activity to participate in 2 to 4 times each weekday. We encourage campers to try as many new and different activities as possible, but in the end it’s still their choice.

Weekends are a little different, as they are spent as a whole camp family playing Color Wars. The entire camp participates in these events; however each camper still gets to choose what role they will have in each events.

We partner with Fun Camp a nonprofit organization in Reno, Nevada. In 2017 we had 40 children come to Mountain Meadow through the generosity of Fun Camp. Over the years we’ve seen lives changed, walls broken down, hearts open, self-worth grow, trust formed, and lives changed!

ACA Camper Scholarship Program
We are in the process of setting up a scholarship fund through the American Camping Association as we speak! We are very excited about the future.

ARIZONA: Camp Shane Arizona located at the naturally beautiful Orme School with 360 degree views of distant mesas and mountains boasting 19th century ranch buildings is truly a place to laugh, learn and lose weight. At an elevation of 4000 feet the climate is remarkably ideal without the intense heat of southern Arizona. This camp is unique in that it offers 25,000 acres for horseback riding as well as the facility offers climate controlled indoor gymnasiums, green playing fields and lawns and a beautiful outdoor pool. GEORGIA: Camp Shane Georgia’s campus is located at Emmanuel College in northeast Georgia in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. An hour and a half drive from Atlanta, Georgia it's a quiet and safe setting on 200 acres. All facilities air-conditioned and it boasts an indoor 9-lane collegiate size pool, Aquatic Center, 4000 Sq.ft. air-conditioned Fitness Center with state of the art wellness equipment, fabulous new dormitories, quad style with one or two campers sharing a bathroom. Minutes from Georgia state parks, river activities, and Lake Hartwell. It's a wonderful place to experience summer fun while learning about nutrition, healthy cooking and fitness.

TEXAS: Camp Shane Texas is set on a lovely 83-acre, beautifully landscaped and wooded campus with attractive and well kept facilities in gorgeous Texas Hill Country setting. Dormitories are modern with custom furniture, granite bathroom counter tops and polished concrete floors. All sport facilities, dorms and classrooms are air conditioned. There is an outdoor classroom, garden, orchard, chicken coop, and miles of nature trails as well as a state-of-the-art weight room, fitness center, multi-purpose room, two gymnasiums and a new indoor swimming pool. Wholesome and nutritious Shane approved healthy menu prepared on-site. We are not a fat camp nor are we a boot camp. We combine all the fun of traditional summer camp with the benefits of weight loss.

WISCONSIN: Camp Shane Wisconsin is set on 80 acres, located off the shore of Lake Michigan. Dorms are newly constructed, modern and fully air-conditioned. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: "Building Characters One Child at a Time"

Stage Kids WA develops and nurtures young people's potential through classes, workshops and performances. Our professional staff encourages creativity and delivers quality performing arts training for both the beginner and the experienced performer. Fun is had by all as we emphasize life skills such as responsibility, confidence, teamwork and creating new friendships.

Stage Kids CA was recently honored as "Best family-friendly musical" for their holiday production of "Bah Humbug".

Often, the success of a show is determined by the number of tickets sold or the overall presentation. To us, the process is just as important (if not MORE important!) than the performance, so we focus on challenging and growing the children. After all, that's what makes a better show...theater skills are really life skills!

Stage Kids WA is a program of the Campbell Children's Theater Foundation - tax exempt under IRS 501(c)(3)

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Stage Kids offers year-round after school musical theater classes and seasonal productions in addition to summer camps.

Event Info: Spend the week exploring and building your audition techniques. Learn how to choose a monologue and fine tune it; audition dress and impression; knowing yourself and characters you fit; cold reading and scene study for callbacks. This camp will culminate in a mock audition process with feedback from working actors and directors!

CAMP FACILITIES: Our 7,500 sq. ft facility houses two professional stages (65-seat and 99-seat), rehearsal and classroom space, offices, and a large lobby gallery. Nestled between a cafe, salon, retail shops, and a popular wine bar, Edgemar Center for the Arts is the anchor of the Edgemar complex on Main Street in Santa Monica. The interior courtyard provides a hub of activity and a convergence of artists, businesses, residents, and visitors to this beachside destination. The complex is a stop on the tour of local gems designed by architect Frank Gehry. The Los Angeles region has a wealth of small "black box" theatres, many of them housed in older structures. Edgemar Center for the Arts theatre’s are unique in size and height and are designed for the challenges of modern stage productions. The Westside, in particular, has only a handful of theatres and Edgemar Center for the Arts stands alone as the only such center in its class.

Camping as a family is a great way to connect and instead of staying in a tent Camp E.L.K. brings you the luxury of beds, showers, prepared meals, and staff led activities. CAMP FACILITIES: Cate School's grounds feature an athletic field, tennis courts, swimming pool, art studio and other recreational and program facilities.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Haverim is now accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA). This accreditation from the most well-respected national camp organization confirms what we have known and committed ourselves to for years - that our programs and activities meet high standards for quality and safety.

CAMP SESSION DATES & FEES:
The cost of each camp session (2 weeks) is $500 for grades K-6. The cost for one week only is $300. We offer children attending all four weeks a $100 discount, reducing the total cost to $900, and a second child/sibling discount of $50 per session.

The tuition includes all camp field trips, a camp T-shirt and two snacks per day. There is an additional fee of $150 per two-week session for our 7th and 8th grade Habonim campers, to cover the cost of special activities (like surfing and scuba diving). The full tuition for each session must be paid before the first day of that session.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The experience of a traditional Italian circus alone is an education in history and global culture. Our heart is in camps that teach the circus arts to children. This education focuses on confidence and opportunity. Taught in a real circus tent by working circus artists, our circus camp is a unique experience that is likely never forgotten and likely the budding to an interest in the world’s unknown and possibilities yet realized.

Brief Description: Camp counselors at Pali Adventures are responsible for the physical and emotional well-being of campers. They supervise campers in a cabin setting, at mealtimes, and during activities. Counselors are in charge of facilitating activities throughout the day. Counselors work as a team to ensure all campers have a fun and memorable experience at camp. Counselors report directly to their Specialty Director and Group Leader.

QUALIFICATIONS

 Exhibit characteristics of responsibility, dependability, leadership, patience, punctuality, hard work, sense of humor, self-control, integrity, common sense, good judgment and a positive enthusiastic attitude.
 Complete the staff application and interview process.
 Attend staff training (May 30 – June 12) and all in-service trainings.
 Must have completed high school and be a minimum 18 years of age or older as of 5/30/20.

Staff members are entrusted with the care and safety of young children in a rustic setting replete with natural and man-made dangers. OTHER CAMP INFO: The Project Endeavor Experience takes students and faculty from around the globe and works with each participant to hone their skills and talents. Each participant will be assigned a team and each team will work with a team leader to design a project or perform a routine or create a masterpiece that will be shown to members of that given field at a final banquet. The team that is elected by members of that profession will be honored at the event and will be able to meet with the judges. As a part of the Project Endeavor experience, each team will base their project and the competition on behalf of a local charitable organization. The winning team will receive a donation on its behalf from Project Endeavor to the selected organization.

CAMP FACILITIES: Beautiful and recently renovated Black Box Theater. It has a stage and comfortable back stage. All of our props and backgrounds are designed and created by hand. Elevated seating that can fit up to 90 people. There is a ticket booth and a functioning restroom. Different types of lighting: black light, fluorescent, stage lighting, rope lighting, and a disco ball. A working sound board, music, and up-to-date stereo system. We utilize different media options as well.

A few buildings away is our main office, where rehearsals may sometimes be held. It has 3 spacious rehearsal rooms, each with a baby grand piano.

Performance for family and friends at the end of the camp.

We do not skip out on costumes! Every participant will be outfitted in a role and age appropriate costumes for the performance. The actors and actress will also interact with carefully designed and created props.

Students will be learning stage position, projection of their voice, blocking, how to interpret a script, read music, sing in a group, and dancing.

Since the plays we do are musicals, the actors and actresses will learn the basics of singing. It includes, reading music, matching pitch, group and possibly solo singing, tempo, and rhythms. Our choreographer will teach dance positions, dance moves, rhythm, counting, and tempo.

The regular tuition for the 4 week program is $1100. Enrollments before July 1, 2013 will receive a 10% discount, reducing the tuition to $990. A 25% deposit of $247.50 is due at the time of registration. The balance of the tuition is due by July 1st, 2013. Enrollments after July 1st must pay the full tuition at the time of enrollment.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have 2 dance studios in the building. We use our large dance space for the dance classes and performance. Camp sit-down activities, arts & crafts are held in our mezzanine studio. Dressing rooms, indoor and outdoor eating areas and office are downstairs.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Star Dance Studio has been a neighborhood and family style dance school since 1950. Over sixty-eight years! Our faculty and staff are warm and caring people who love working with children. Instructors are adults well experienced in their dance art and teaching skills. For camp assistants, we often bring in the teen and college students whom we've trained to teach.

Each Wednesday, we take a walk to the Golden Gate Park's Arboretum and Shakespeare's Garden. There, we take candid dance photographs (shared with you). Afterward, the kids get to enjoy one of the best pizza restaurants in San Francisco, "Pasquale's Pizzeria"! A healthy salad and cheese pizza. Water or juice to drink. (No soda.) If special foods are required, please inform us in advance.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Selected Star Dance teen students and returning college students are afforded the opportunity to continue their leadership training during the camps.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Sep-Jun classes for ages 3-20 in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, Boys Tap Team, Children's combination classes (ballet, tap, tumbling, creative). Adult classes, too!
