CAMPER AGES: 8-16 years old
TYPE OF CAMP: Overnight/Sleepaway.
CAMPER GENDER(S): Coed Campers.
BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: One and two-week overnight sessions for boys and girls ages 8-16 located on 211-acres overlooking the Chesapeake Bay in North East, MD (halfway between Baltimore and Philadelphia). Traditional camp program with a choice of activities: sailing, waterskiing, ropes course, archery, sports, creative and performing arts, horses, pool, and zipline.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Musical Theater, Dance, Video/Filmmaking/Photography, Fine Arts/Crafts, Weightloss, Soccer, Horses/Equestrian, Swimming, Tennis, Waterfront/Aquatics, Sailing, Volleyball, Basketball, Football, Adventure, Wilderness/Nature, and more. Archery, Canoeing, Field Hockey, Fishing, Gaga Ball, Guitar, International Cooking, Kayaking, Lacrosse, Magic, Outdoor Living Skills, Ropes Course With Climbing Wall & Zipline, Tumbling, Volleyball, & Waterskiing.
CAMP LOCATION: Sandy Hill Camp is located on 211 scenic acres overlooking the Upper Chesapeake Bay near the town of North East, Maryland.
CAMP FACILITIES: Our One-Week Campers sleep in rustic cabins and located nearby are clean, modern and newly renovated bathrooms with shower facilities and electricity. Lodges for Two-Week Campers are modern yet rustic-looking, 4300 square foot, two-story buildings that each house at least 48 campers and staff. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Sandy Hill Camp is a family-owned and operated, licensed and ACA-accredited, residential summer camp. The programs are designed to help each camper learn and grow through fun, educational, and character-building experiences.
