CAMPER AGES: 4-12
TYPE OF CAMP: Day Camp. Monday-Friday from 9:00am-3:00pm
CAMPER GENDER(S): Coed Campers.
BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Sparx Studio is an educational acting day camp running from July 4th until August 19th from 9:00am-3:00pm with the option of aftercare which goes until 4:00pm. We teach children social emotional skills such as how to deal with stranger danger situations, bullying, anxiety tips, and much more through FUN acting exercises. We even write and rehearse a group play that is performed for parents at the end of the week! Children ages 4-12 are welcome! We hope to see you soon!

CAMP LOCATION: We are running at four different locations this year:
Bloor West in Windermere United Church at 356 Windermere Ave.
Midtown in Midtown's Tiny Tots location at 588 Mount Pleasant Road.
Central Etobicoke in the Royal York Road Church at 851 Royal York Road.
South Etobicoke in Xtreme Couture Gym at 700 Kipling Ave.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Majority of our staff are either in the process of completing a teacher's college program or are already certified by the board to teach. At Sparx, we value inspiring our students and instilling confidence and resilience in them which is why we only hire the best staff and refrain from hiring anyone in high school. We love having staff who are passionate about working with kids and love to make a difference in their lives.
Our South Etobicoke location at 700 Kipling Avenue in Xtreme Couture Gym also offers a martial arts component for 2 hours every day! These include relay races, tug of war, and self-defense.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Our camp is designed for all types of children. Whether that be a spotlight seeker or a timid child, we encourage all to sign up as our curriculum helps shy children come out of their shell while our showcase allows spotlight seekers to have their moment of fame as well!
